The swirling plant like decorations on the frame and white circles / dots depict growth, development and peace – all the good things to come to this woman as she moves further into freedom. Freedom can be physical, spiritual and emotional / psychological; it often involves bravery and fear can hold people back and keep them ‘locked up’.
