As part of UK artist Tom Croft’s #portraitsfronhsheroes Covid response I volunteered to paint a portrait of an NHS key worker and gift the painting to them. Here are my paintings of three amazing nurses (one is also a midwife). Each of these painting is with their NHS hero. I especially wanted to focus on celebrating each NHS hero as individual, the words in the backgrounds of the paintings came from my asking people close to them to describe each NHS hero. Painting number four is currently underway.
